Athens, Greece | Ancient Cathedral
As my journey begin in Athens, cradle of classical architecture,
in my haste to reach my night's accommodation, I stumbled upon this weathered, ancient cathedral that immediately captured my attention. The surrounding vegetation added a beautiful touch to the scene with its purple flowers and pine trees. Additionally, I found myself drawn to the charming European-style roof tiles.

During our stay, we opted for a cozy rental in this settlement. The turquoise sea lies right in front, occasionally creeping closer as the tides shift. The characteristic white paint, synonymous with Greece, is diligently reapplied each year. This white hue efficiently reflects the sun, mitigating the intensity of the heat.
